Strong governance structures and clear accountability enable PTTEP to deliver our commitments towards sustainable goals. While PTTEP Board of Directors is the highest governance body who provides advisory and approves PTTEP's Sustainability strategy and target that will be advised prior by the Corporate Governance and Sustainability Committee. In terms of sustainable operation management, the Management Committee, with CEO as the Chairman, is responsible for overseeing and endorsement of PTTEP's sustainability related policies, directing PTTEP's sustainability approach including strategy, framework, target and roadmap.

To ensure the integration of sustainability into PTTEP business, continual improvement as well as transparent communications, the Corporate Sustainability Strategy Function is accountable for coordinating with PTTEP management from divisions and departments to deploy to employees who have important role in implementing and complying to achieve sustainability target. The Corporate Sustainability Strategy Function is responsible for regularly monitor result and effectiveness of the sustainability roadmap execution, internally and externally benchmark, and as well as report the result to the Management Committee and the Corporate Governance and Sustainability Committee on a regular basis.

With this governance structure, PTTEP can effectively drive the organization in alignment with the sustainability framework, emphasizing High Performance Organization (HPO), Governance, Risk Management and Compliance (GRC), and Sustainable Value Creation (SVC), while creating the benefits to wider economy, society and the environment.

Board of Directors (BoD)
  • Annually approve the corporate policies and strategies, including frameworks and targets
  • Oversee the sustainability-related strategies, policies, and action plans that will be further incorporated into PTTEP's strategy
  • Conduct reviews of sustainability-related issues, including strategies, targets, risks and opportunities, to monitor performance and effectiveness of sustainability roadmap
Monthly
Corporate Governance and Sustainability Committee (CGSC)
  • Oversee the corporate sustainability strategy and framework including sustainability-related issues in terms of risks and opportunities to PTTEP
  • Provide directions and monitor sustainability-related implementation and its performance

Management Committee (MC)
  • Review sustainability materiality issues significant to the strategies, business directions, investment plans, budget, and human resources of PTTEP and subsidiaries
  • Monitor the achievement of sustainability performance and support underperforming gap closing with recommendations
