High Vocational Certificate Scholarship for Students

PTTEP recognized the importance of skill and capacity development in Myanmar in order to support business growth. The company therefore collaborates with companies in the PTT Group to support the 2-year high vocational certificate scholarship program for students from Myanmar in the field of Electrics, Mechanics, Electrical Technics and Information Technology (English program) at IRPC Technological College, Rayong Province, Thailand. The criteria of student qualifications for the scholarship were jointly established by PTT Group and Myanmar’s Ministry of Education and IRPCT. Since 2013, the project has granted over 230 scholarships in total. 172 students have graduated from the program, 20 of which are currently working in PTTEP Myanmar Asset as Production Operators and Maintenance Technicians. The remaining 45 students who received scholarships are currently pursuing their studied.
